The journey has been a difficult one. We are Michael and Wendy Arthur, and we ran a successful transport business ... until Michael had a massive brain bleed and stroke in March 2018, which left him paralyzed on his right side. Most people die instantly with that type of brain bleed but God had other plans. Almost 8 years later, after a thousand lifetimes of disappointment and pain, we understand struggle at depths we never knew existed. We are people of deep faith. We knew there had to be a purpose for the suffering. Out of our experience in the darkest of places, we can now be a light for others.

The mission of Cheeky Sophisticate is to help artisans and others (who have taken the time to hone their craft) get their work seen. We're not "just a store." We are a platform for excellence. We sell quality items and work with great people who we feel have developed their skills, product and selves to the point that they are ready to showcase their work. We are extremely selective in what we offer in our boutique - a high price tag doesn't make it quality, but a quality product is worth paying for.  "Do you see a man (or woman) skilled in their work? They will stand before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank." (Proverbs 22:29)
